If you are a sea angler, or on a decent sized loch or lake then you need a good boat. Our local 'pond' (Loch Ness) is 54 square kilometres - a monster with a 40 km fetch but it does not take too many hectares of exposed water to get some fair sized waves in the right conditions (or is it wrong conditions?).

CE category C: inshore - designed for waves of up to 2 metres significant height and a typical steady wind force of beaufort force 6 or less. Such conditions may be encountered on exposed inland waters and in coastal waters in moderate weather conditions.
Although our fishing kayaks are sit-on-tops they include decent sized (and stable) craft hat are certainly suited to sea fishing.
