The ability to go virtually anywhere with akayak certainly appeals to many fishermen and it is not surprising that kayaks, particularly sit-on models, have become popular with sportsmen.

The single and two seat standard sit on yaks meet the basic criteria but the K3 pabile is perhaps the first kayak that is a fisherman's boat. A 2 adult (plus) kayak that has also been classed as a boat and complies with RCD design criteria to category D this boat can be paddled, rowed (bit like a fowlers punt in this regard - pushing or pulling) and is also intended to be used with an electric thruster.  Flat bottomed for very low draft and stability it has lots of features. At 4 metres x 0.85 and 44kg it pops on the car roof and can be launched just about anywhere - riverbank. canal, pond, lake, any shoreline...

The K4 - spring of 2006 we hope - is a sea kayak for expeditions and as such will suit the  afficionado of kayaks as well as the beginner (it is a sit-on ~ but also a sit-in) with two water-tight storage compartments, rudder steer and eye catching looks.

With this sea kayak solitary fishermen can get to some truly wild places and could well be fishing for your supper....
